This Privacy Notice applies when you:

submit your contact details through the contact form on our website;

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and other applicable data protection laws.

Responding to enquiries
We use your contact details and the content of your enquiry to contact you, answer your questions and discuss our executive-search, recruitment or related services.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. In other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and developing professional relationships pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Prospective client enquiries and lead-generation campaigns
If you provide your details through an advertisement or lead-generation form, we use them to respond to your expressed interest, contact you about the subject of the campaign and discuss a possible business relationship.
Depending on the campaign and the wording of the relevant form, processing is based on:
your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; or
our legitimate interest in responding to requested business contact and developing our services under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Where consent is required for marketing communications under applicable electronic communications or unfair competition laws, we will contact you for such purposes only after obtaining the necessary consent.

Candidate enquiries
If you contact us as a candidate, we process your data to respond to your enquiry and, where requested, to consider whether we may be able to assist you with suitable career opportunities.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, including steps taken at your request before entering into a possible contractual or placement relationship. Where appropriate, processing may also be based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in managing candidate relationships and providing executive-search services.
Submitting basic contact details does not automatically add you to a candidate database or authorise us to share your profile with clients. We will provide additional information and, where required, obtain your consent before processing further candidate information for a specific search assignment.
Website operation and security
Basic technical data may be processed to deliver the website, maintain its security, prevent misuse and diagnose technical problems.
This processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing a secure and functional website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5. Advertising and Lead-Generation Platforms
Our advertisements or lead forms may be displayed by third-party platforms such as LinkedIn.
When you interact with an advertisement or submit a platform-hosted lead form, the relevant platform may process personal data for its own purposes and under its own responsibility. This may include account, device, usage and advertising data. The platform’s own privacy notice applies to such processing.
We receive only the information made available to us through the relevant campaign or lead form. We use that information solely for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice.
Where we and an advertising platform jointly determine particular purposes and means of processing, we may act as joint controllers for the relevant processing activity. Information about the allocation of responsibilities can be obtained from the relevant platform or from us upon request.

6. Recipients of Personal Data
Your personal data is used only for our internal business purposes and is not sold or made available to unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Access is limited to authorised employees and, where necessary, authorised personnel of the relevant companies within TARGET Executive Search Group CEE who need the information to respond to your enquiry.
We may also use carefully selected service providers, including:
website hosting providers;
IT and system-support providers;
email and telecommunications providers;
customer relationship management or contact-management providers;
advertising and lead-generation platforms.
Such providers may process personal data only within the scope of their respective role and applicable contractual and legal obligations. Where they act as processors on our behalf, they are bound by appropriate data-processing agreements.

Candidate information will not be forwarded to a client or prospective employer solely because you have submitted your contact details. Any such disclosure will be handled separately and transparently and, where required, only with your prior consent.

Because we operate as an international group and may use international service providers or advertising platforms, personal data may in individual cases be processed outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).
Where personal data is transferred to a country for which the European Commission has not issued an adequacy decision, we use appropriate safeguards as required by Chapter V GDPR. These may include the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where appropriate, supplementary safeguards.

11. Obligation to Provide Personal Data

We do not use the contact details collected through our temporary website or lead-generation forms to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects concerning you.
